Public Cloud backup

The public cloud has a backup feature where by you can backup all your instances which you have created, or to create an instance as a master template and then to make a backup of the master template. This allows you to then delete the master instance and the instance would remain as a backup stored. You can then deploy the instance as needed and over as many times as you need to. The requirement is that the deployment would be back to the original region where the backup was made.

As we can see our backup is located in the region of SBG1, this means the restoration can only go back to the SBG1 location. There are other ways to restore the backup to another region however in terms of simplicity it would be back to the source location.
