SSHFS (SSH Filesystem) is a filesystem which allows you to mount another server file system to the local server. It enables easy file transfer between two systems. By default the mount point is set on /mnt/.
To specify a new mount point we need to make a new folder under /mnt/[name of mount]/ this will enable a new mount point.
sshfs -o allow_other firstname.lastname@example.org:/ /mnt/[name of mount]/ The above command will mount the server of mysuperweb.co.uk to my local computer. A new location path will be set which will allow us to interact with this path.
