In Windows server the default browser for the internet is “Internet Explorer”. By default in Internet Explorer there is a feature called “Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration”, in essence it pretty much doesn’t allow you to access any website. Every website you try to visit will present you with a warning. This is in place for security reasons.
If you wish to turn this off and to use Internet explorer to browse the internet normally you would look to disable the “Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration”. In Windows server, there is a built in application called “Server Manager”, at this location you will select “Local Server” from the left hand side. On the right hand side there is “IE Enhanced Security Configuration”, if we click on this we can look to disable the setting.
Here as we are using the “Administrator” user, we will turn it off for this user.
Now we can use Internet Explorer to browse websites normally.
